Liberty Buick GMC’s All Star Automotive Line-Up

Liberty GMC Buick will be helping the town of Chester , S.C. celebrate the town’s 30th anniversary as a sponsor of their second annual Chester Country Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. As one of the main sponsors of this event,  Liberty GMC Buick is also hosting a luncheon for seniors in the community. All seniors in the community are invited to attend this free luncheon which will be held on Festival grounds from 11:30 – until 1:00 pm. The 30th Anniversary will be held at 1:00 following the luncheon.

With the theme “Arts on the Corner,” the event will take place at the Chester Town Hall and the Chester Corners Shopping Center located at 1924 Chester Road in downtown Chester.

The festival will bring old fashioned family fun for all ages once again to the heart of the community. The day will feature local Chester artists and artists from the Waxhaw Art Council and Union County Arts Council. Artists will display paintings, pottery, jewelry, hand-painted clothing and sculpture for sale in our “Art at the Corners” art gallery.

The festival will also feature a “Kids Corner” where children can explore their creative side at the arts and crafts area. If adventure and exercise are what you are seeking, bouncy giant inflatable slides and a Moon Bounce will be set-up. Or take your shot at the Hi Striker & Kiddie Striker or ride the Trackless train or Kiddie Ferris Wheel. There will be many activities to keep a family well entertained from face painting, to hula hoop or limbo contests for various age groups. Family fun will also include The Whispering Hope Farm petting zoo and Walk in the Woods featuring environmental education program with live animals.
